Ship-It Rating Assessment Options

There are four options for level of Assessments

All Assessments are based on the same categorical* answers to around 40 key measures. However, the accuracy of the Assessment depends on the level of independent investigation and validation used in obtaining those answers. There are three approaches:
Auto is a self-assessment that is sanity checked by a SIRA member.
Assisted involves a standard verification process which takes one to three hours to Certify the rating.
Examined requires more in-depth validation or audit work – output is tailored and and ratings will be labelled Validated or Audited.

*Note: Audited and Verified assessments may be able to obtain real-valued grades that are more accurate than the categorical grades. See How the Ratings are Calculated.
